On September 7^th The Polish Ambassador will release a 14-track compilation of unreleased original material and remixes to follow up his celebrated 1320 Records debut album: Future, Sex, Computers.  The album features a stacked lineup of producers including The Great Mundane, Phutureprimitive, KiloWatts, Little People, Deceptikon, Gladkill, Ben Samples, Signal Path, Splatinum, Sugarpill, and Stephan Jacobs.

Mochipet and The Polish Ambassador are pairing up this September to launch a co-headline tour in support of each of their new releases on STS9’s record label: 1320 Records. Mochipet’s “Chicxulub” is a departure from the raw dubstep that this veteran producer and dj is known for and explores refined and spatial glitch-hop and electro, ranking him among the masters of the genres such as Justice, The Glitch Mob, and Tipper.  The Polish Ambassador follows up his debut LP on 1320 Records with “Future, Sex, Computers: The Remixes and B Sides,” a compilation featuring remixes of songs from the LP as well as three never-before heard B-side tracks that didn’t make it on the original release.  The tour will touch down in select cities across the US and feature gripping live sets packed with fresh material from both esteemed west coast producers.

Well, my first record released on a major label (1320 Records) went over pretty darn well. So well, that we decided to put together a remix record. The original album had 11 tracks. Each song will be remixed by one producer for a total of 11 new remixes. Let me tell you…This lineup is STACKED. In fact, I couldn’t be more pumped about the producers involved. Each artist was hand selected by me and my team of highly trained chimpanzees. In no particular order, the following artists will be appearing on the comp. Phutureprimitive, The Great Mundane, Splatinum, Ben Samples, Signal Path, Deceptikon, Gladkill, Little People, Kilowatts, Stephan Jacobs, and Sugarpill. O yea, I’ll also be putting a mini – EP on the record. Three brand new original Polish Ambassador tracks. The “Future, Sex, Computers (Remixes and B-Sides)”record will be available everywhere on Sept. 7th. Prepare thyself.

Mayan Holidaze, five days of music filled bliss set in the picturesque location of the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, announced its first round of support acts including Colorado-based electronic duo Big Gigantic and jumpsuit donning beat master The Polish Ambassador

The purple-dinosaur-suit-wearing producer known as Mochipet is a week away from releasing his latest LP,  Chicxulub (artwork above), for the 1320 label. Here, we have the record’s first single, an energetic slice of epic beat work that matches videogame-style arpeggiators (check the title) along with an over-powering breakbeat and a healthy dose of low-end rumble. Considering “Yoshi’s Dinosaur Egg Hunt” is only the second track of the album, which is said to serve as “the soundtrack for an animated novel in which the dinosaurs make their way through the impact of the comet believed to have destroyed them,” it’s safe to say that Chicxulub is going to be one propulsive collection of boom-bappery when it drops August 16. Mochipet’s latest release on 1320 Records ‘Chicxulub’,is the soundtrack for an animated novel in which the Dinosaurs make their way through the impact of the comet believed to have destroyed them. The album starts off with a highly compressed glitch-hop bass number ‘Dinosaur Anthems’ signaling the dark that is arriving along to where ‘Yoshi’s Dinosaur Egg Hunt’ guides you through Fraggle Rawk-style landscapes in search of the young that are left to live on. The Dinosaurs eventually leave the planet, taking off in their ‘Pterodactyl Spaceship’ to new undiscovered lands. But they do not make it out easily; there are a number of alien life forms that have invaded in ‘The Battle of Dinotropolis’ (Featuring Ben Samples). With everything destroyed all that is left are ‘Fossils’ and our prehistoric creatures are left to find ‘A Home Away From Home.’ So ‘Ghost Ride The Ark’ to Outer Space we go! Whether our Dino friends make it to their new homes is unsure as ‘I Really Don’t Think We Are Ok ACE.’ The Saga is To Be Continued…
